Participants in a meeting held in Strasbourg by the European commission for justice efficiency (CEPEJ) welcomed the Moroccan judiciary system reform.

The European experts commended the impressive and rich work conducted both as regards diagnosis and recommendations, said Najia Rahali, head of studies, cooperation and modernization at the Moroccan ministry of justice and freedoms. The meeting is part of the program "strengthening democratic reform of the southern neighborhood", conducted by the Council of Europe and the European Union.

Participants examined progress in cooperation between Morocco and the European comission for justice efficiency.

Another meeting will be held next December to decide on the 2014 program of activities.

Made up of experts of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe, CEPEJ develops tools aimed at improving the efficiency and the functioning of justice.
