Errachidia Bus Accident: Bodies of Three Other Missing People Recovered, Local Authorities

Errachidia, 08/09/2019 (MAP) - The corpses of three other victims who went missing following the bus that overturned, on Sunday morning, at the bridge "Oued Damchan" (El Khank commune) in the province of Errachidia, were found, according to the authorities of the wilaya of the Draa Tafilalet region. Search and rescue operations carried out by the various authorities concerned following this accident helped found, on Sunday afternoon, the bodies of three missing persons, said the same source. The search for possible missing persons is still on, the source noted, adding that the necessary human and logistical resources have been mobilized for this purpose. The preliminary toll of casualties by the same source was six deaths and the rescue of 27 passengers of the bus which links Casablanca to Rissani.

Earlier in the day, the search teams retrieved the bodies of two people among the missing passengers.
