Rabat - Minister of Equipment, Transport and Logistics Aziz Rabbah held, here Monday, talks with Turkish Deputy Economy Minister Adnan Yildirim, on the ways to boost Turkish investments in Morocco.

On this occasion, Rabbah called on the Turkish minister to pay more interest in investment in Morocco and the exploitation of business opportunities in the Kingdom, adding that boosting economic relations between Morocco and Turkey goes through investments and does not depend only on the expansion of trade.

Rabbah, who reviewed the investment opportunities in promising economic sectors, said that trade between the two countries, under the free trade agreement, reached about two billion dollars, but still unbalanced.

For his part, the Turkish Deputy Minister voiced the willingness of his country to strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom which goes through accelerated changes in many sectors and is considered one of the strongest States in Africa, stressing that free trade agreement contributes positively to the development of bilateral relations.
Yildirim also expressed the willingness of his country to encourage Turkish companies around the world to invest in Morocco, which offers great business opportunities, especially in the free zones.
