Mardi 8 Décembre 2020

El Guerguarat - Economic, professional and associative actors, on a visit to the El Guerguarat border post on Sunday, expressed their constant mobilization behind HM King Mohammed VI to face the maneuvers of the enemies of territorial integrity.  In joint statements read on this occasion, these actors welcomed the "resolute" position of Morocco, on High Instructions from HM the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the FAR, to restore the movement of goods and people.  The federations of professional caterers in Morocco have welcomed the wise decisions of the Sovereign to face the actions of the enemies of territorial integrity.

These organizations reiterated their full support for the efforts of the Moroccan state aimed at ensuring respect for United Nations resolutions relating to the maintenance of security and stability in the region.  For its part, the Moroccan Confederation of Fish Merchants hailed the intervention of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) to secure this border crossing and thwart plots hatched by enemies of territorial integrity.  The Confederation also welcomed the positions of the international community and of brotherly and friendly countries in support of the first national cause.  The General Union of Traders and Professionals of Morocco hailed the peaceful intervention of the FAR against all those who try to undermine the economic security and social peace of the Kingdom.  This professional organization condemned the provocative actions of the separatists aimed at damaging the Moroccan economy and obstructing commercial movement between Morocco and friendly and brotherly sub-Saharan countries.

As for the associative actors of Dakhla Oued Eddahab, they expressed their full support for the peaceful intervention of Morocco, which allowed the restoration of the movement of goods and people between Morocco and Mauritania.  They condemned the actions of the separatists who obstructed for three weeks movement in the buffer zone of El Guerguarat, on the main road connecting Morocco and Mauritania, despite calls from the UN Secretary General and several countries urging the "Polisario" to withdraw its militias from the region.
