Debate: The Voice of Youth in Redefining Arab Identity

Given the importance of Morocco and its dynamic civil society and youth, 'Young Arab Voices' kingdom has chosen to launch its second phase, and Monday, September 10 at 18:30 at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat, under the theme'' The Voice of Youth in redefining the Arab identity.''

The theme chosen for this phase reflects the essence of the project, which aims to give more weight to the voice of the Arab youth and to provide a forum for it to be heard.
 
This debate launch Arab Young Voices will be attended by the President of the Anna Lindh Foundation and advised His Majesty André Azoulay, alongside the Director of the British Council in Morocco, Martin Rose, and renowned expert and President of National Observatory for Human Development, Rachid Belmokhtar for a debate over an hour with six young people selected from each of the six countries participating in the program.
 
Note that the program'''' Young Arab Voices aims to mobilize more than 6,000 youth in Morocco from 2012 to 2013 by organizing public debates in several Moroccan cities through its five national hubs and their 50 partners. It will launch the debate with a taste of Moroccan public debate, in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and other dignitaries, representatives of civil society, journalists and diplomats.
 
The event will be covered by media-France 24 will be open exclusively by speeches by the Minister of Youth and Sports for youth issues, the Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs for the regional and Euro-Mediterranean area.
 
In addition, the British Council Rabat will host a half-day training session for the six young people who participate in the debate.
