Death of Al Qaeda leaders not the end of the conflict

The death of Abdelhamid Abu Zeid and probably that of Mokhtar Belmokhtar, is unlikely to be the end of the war against terrorism .
Death of Al Qaeda leaders not the end of the conflict
This  is the conclusion of an expert,Zoubir Yahia  ,quoted by the Algerian daily Echorouk. He stresses the idea that the final solution should be political and economic backed by a relentless war against  criminal organisations.

The expert affirmed that the French intervention in Mali was driven by the need to exploit the natural resources of Mali such as uranium and gold  under cover of the fight against terrorism.Headded that the deaths of the AQMI leaders Abou Zeid and Mokhtar Belmokhtar  announced by Chad had not been confirmed. Even the death of Ousama Bin Laden did not end Al Qaeda he pointed out.

Mali's economy is based on drugs and weapons smuggling and this was unlikely to end with the deaths of AQMI leaders. The expert  preferred the Algerian solution of separating local inhabitants and terrorists and suggests that French forces intervened  too quickly. There is no actual proof of the terrorist leaders deaths just as no evidence was produced by the United States for the death of Bin Laden, the expert concluded.
