Former Spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats for British trade and industry, Lord Sharman, has been appointed by the British Prime Minister, David Cameron as trade envoy with Morocco.

According to information reported by the BBC News Channel, Lord Sharman will act as supervisor of the implementation of the new UK Government's strategy to enhance trade with Morocco.
 
This initiative reflects the British strategy to reposition itself on the international economic scene strengthening strategic partnerships with countries with strong economic growth like Morocco. This is also part of the very small list of countries with which London wants to develop a strategic partnership emphasises MAP.
 
David Cameron has also appointed trade envoys with other countries, including Mexico, Indonesia, South Africa, Cambodia, Kazakhstan, Jordan and Kuwait.
