"Dar Al Hadith" wins 1st Tlemcen Panorama documentary Film prize

The director Said Oulmi won the first prize of "Panorama Documentary Film Tlemcen"on Wednesday for his work entitled "Dar Al Hadith", reports APS.
The ceremony for the winners was held in the Djamel Eddine Chanderli Hall, inaugurated on the occasion of the opening of the event, organized by the Department of Cinema for "Tlemcen, Capital of Islamic Culture 2011" .

"Dar Al Hadith, space knowledge and worship " playing in 52mn of this place of worship and scientific influence, inaugurated in Tlemcen in 1937 by Sheikh Abdelhamid Benbadis, president of the Association of Algerian Ulema.

The award for best historical research has returned to the director Lakehal Larbi for his documentary titled "Abdelkrim Maghili". The distinction honoring the best recovery was attributed to Chorfi Kharoubi for his film dedicated to Ibn Khaldun.

The jury of filmmakers and audiovisual professionals awarded the prize to encourage the young director Nazim Kaidi for his documentary on Kaddour Benachour.


30 documentary films, produced as part of the event "Tlemcen, the capital of Islamic culture in 2011" were nominated to run for one of the distinctions of this panorama, which was held from March 15 to 20 stream.
