Rabat: The head of government Abdelilah Benkirane is accused by parliamentarians,of having unilaterally and without consultation, decided an extraordinary parliamentary session.

The visit of French President François Hollande, has not finished the cause of the cacophony in kingdom after upsetting the fans of Raja Casablanca, comes the turn of parliamentarians to get angry.

 

Indeed, reports from media sources instead, the speech that the head of the French state, is due to make before the convention parliament, falls during the summer recess.

 

As a result, an extraordinary parliamentary session has been decreed by the government, except that the process has hit a snag.

 

Almost half of the committee of elected officers of the House of Representatives, boycotted a preparatory meeting of the plenary that will host the French President.

 

Due to this boycott, MPs criticise Abdelilah Benkirane for having unilaterally and without prior consultation, decided this extraordinary parliamentary session and the agenda has been stopped by ministerial decree.

 

The crisis has exploded two days before Hollande's speech and it is likely to overshadow the ceremony This has caused the President of the House of Representatives Karim Ghellab to redouble his efforts to defuse the dispute between the head of government and the angry parliamentarians.

 

Note that François Hollande will address the elected members on Thursday, April 4, the second day of his visit to Morocco.
