Covid-19: Economy Minister Calls for Faster Payments to Businesses
Rabat - Minister of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform, Mohamed Benchaâboun, called on Thursday to take the necessary steps to speed up payments to businesses, especially SMEs and VSEs.
As part of the measures to reduce the impact of the coronavirus "Covid-19" on the national economy, the minister signed, on March 26, 2020, a circular encouraging ministerial departments, institutions and public enterprises to take the necessary steps to accelerate these processes, says a statement by the ministry.
The objective, according to the same source, is "to reduce the pressure on their cash flow and enable them to meet their financial obligations".
