Covid-19: 162 New Cases in Morocco, Total Rises to 16,424 - Health Ministry
Rabat - A total of 162 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded in Morocco until Thursday at 10 a.m., bringing the total number of covid-19 cases in the kingdom to 16,424, the ministry of Health says on its website "www.covidmaroc.ma".
According to the same source, 75 new recoveries were registered over the given period, taking the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients to 13,896, while one coronavirus-related death was recorded which brings the number of fatalities to 260. The number of excluded suspected cases following negative tests has reached 927,267 since the start of the outbreak, the source adds. The ministry urges citizens to observe rules of hygiene, implement the precautionary measures issued by the public authorities, act with responsibility and show patriotism.
