"Corps -Africa": The U.S. chooses Morocco for the first pilot phase

The Holbrooke Fund is to finance the inaugural program of " Corps - Africa " in Morocco which was officially launched in Washington. Inspired by the experience of the U.S. Peace Corps, " Corps - Africa" was created in 2011 to give African youth the opportunity to serve as volunteers in their own countries and thereby contribute to finding solutions to the problem of poverty at community level.
According to the President of the Council's governing body, "Corps-Africa", John Salinger, the  Holbrooke Fund's objective is to raise the sum of 300,000 dollars needed to finance the first phase pilot "Corps-Africa" ​​in Morocco. The first stage will include the recruitment of a local program director in Morocco, opening an office and the appointment of its governing council, in addition to recruiting volunteers who will carry out the mission of the field program .
