Compensation for loss of employment could it see the light of day in June?

Rabat: Compensation for loss of employment (IPE) could be released in June. That is, in any case, what might be decided at the next meeting of the Board of Directors of the NSSF to be held in June, says La Vie Eco.
Compensation for loss of employment could it see the light of day in June?

Indeed, according to La Vie Eco, the project has been validated on December 3, according to the government side. However, for the CGEM it was no more than an agreement in principle which remained to be formalised.

The chairman of the Committee on Employment and Social Relations, Jamal Belahrach ensures that "this project has long been defended by employers, must be viable, sustainable funding benefit that the current setup does not allow" the specialised site La Vie Eco reports.

As a reminder, the government had proposed a funding scheme with employer and employee participation at the height of respectively 0.38% and 0.19% of salary capped at 6,000 dirhams and a unique contribution to the government (seed money) of an amount of 250 million dirhams.

However, the CGEM considers this insufficient to ensure sustainable financing of the project. The seed funds could then turn into a support fund for the first three years. However, it remains insufficient, at least for the CGEM, which requires the insured unemployed to have a qualifying training program, supported by the state.

Regarding the Ministry of Employment, the measurement is the result of the global social dialogue agreement on 26 April 2011, and therefore, all partners were very willing to make it happen. In addition, the device will not encounter financial difficulties at the end of its first year.

Thus, we should, perhaps, wait for June to see what the IPE is that the unemployed are awaiting impatiently.
