Close to 400 Million DH allocated to 3 institutes for automobile industry training

Rabat - A budget of 380 million dhs (MDH) was allocated to the setting up of three institutes specialized in the car industry jobs to be attended annually by 3,000 persons.

A release of the ministry of industry, trade and new technologies says the decrees approving the creation of these 3 schools in Casablanca, Atlantic Free Zone (Kenitra), and Tanger Free Zone, were adopted by the government on August 1st. 

Destined to accompany the car-making dynamism in Morocco, the move is part of the National industrial emergence pact which focuses on training as a central factor for the thriving of industrial activities in Morocco.

Since 2009, over 31,500 jobs were created in the car-making sector (an average annual growth of 18pc) and over 13.3 billion DH of additional export turnover was generated (an annual average growth rate exceeding 19pc).
