Celebration on Saturday in Rabat of "Earth Hour"
The Ribat al Fath Association for Sustainable Development is organising on Saturday in Rabat, the 2013 edition of the event "Earth Hour", which consists, as in other major capitals of the world in turning off their lights for one hour..

This year the event will be celebrated between 20:00 and 21:00 in the space in front of the Council of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer.
The event is part of the international program "Earth Hour", sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to turn off the lights for sixty minutes in urban centers and public places in some cities to raise awareness about the need to save energy, the fight against global warming and to work to mitigate climate change which is detrimental to the planet and threatening its survival, according to a statement from the Association Ribat al Fath.
The 2011 and 2012 editions of Earth Hour were held in the same space in Rabat.
