Casablanca: three people burnt, two asphyxiated in gas cylinder explosion

Casablanca - Three people were burnt and two others were asphyxiated, on Sunday in Casablanca, in the explosion of a gas cylinder, a source from the civil defense said.

The fire, which broke out at 10.30 a.m. in the Sidi Moumen neighborhood, destroyed several shacks and caused important damage, it said.

Around 30 firefighters, 4 fire-engines and several ambulances were mobilized to contain the fire. The victims were rushed to the Casablanca's Ibn Roshd Hospital and an investigation was opened to shed light on the incident's circumstances.
