CNDH, Media Diversity Institute sign agreement on media diversity
Rabat - Morocco's human rights watchdog (CNDH) and Media Diversity Institute (MDI) signed, on Monday in Rabat, an agreement to strengthen media diversity.

The agreement, signed by CNDH chairman Driss El Yazami and MDI media consultant Nick Carter, seeks to initiate training sessions for members of human rights regional committees in order to promote media diversity.
El Yazami said that these training sessions will focus on the concept of diversity as laid down in the preamble of the constitution, adding that they are also meant to ensure such diversity in national and regional media outlets.
"We do not know a part of our history and of our present which is plural and pluralistic" he said, noting that the immigration issue is a concrete example since we are hosting other languages, cultures and religions in our territory.
