British Airways increases its flights to Marrakech and Agadir

British Airways is increasing in the frequency of its flights to Marrakech and its support service British Midland International (BMI) to Agadir. Since 28 October, British Airways has increased flights from three times aweek to seven times a week between London's Gatwick airport and Marrakech.

Flights from Agadir to London Heathrow Terminal 5 are twice a week. The ticket Agadir London Heathrow is offered at the special price of 2369 dirhams, while the route Marrakech-London Gatwick is priced at 2,219 dirhams, the daily newspaper Au Fait reported.


These new increases in frequecy are in the context of a general increase in the supply of British Airways flights following the purchase of BMI by its parent company, IAG.A number of BMI routes were cut by IAG including Casablanca.
 

BA's CEO, Keith Williams said : "The integration of BMI British Airways will really allow us to expand our network, and we had pledged and to offer our customers more flights to destinations which we know they are interested."

He also promised that British Airways will concentrate its efforts towards providing new flight routes, more frequent connections to popular destinations, and creating more connections between different parts of United Kingdom and its network worldwide.The routes operated by British Airways between Morocco and the United Kingdom, are an integral part of this strategy.
