Boulif meets with UNSG Special Representative for Disaster Risk Reduction

During the meeting, Boulif surveyed the broad lines of the national strategy for risk management and efforts made by the government to implement it mainly in relation with the management of natural disasters, underlining the mobilization of all concerned ministerial departments to set up a body in charge of risk management, a statement by the ministry said.

The minister noted that the cabinet began carrying out this strategy through the reinforcement of capacities in all areas of training and communication.

Margareta Wahlstr?m commended Morocco's risk management efforts in harmony with the UN vision for after the year 2015, reaffirming the readiness of the UN bodies to reinforce cooperation with Morocco.
