Rabat - Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida reiterated, Thursday in Rabat, Morocco's will to further strengthen cooperation with Canada in several areas of common interest.
Bouaida, who held talks with former Governor General of Canada, President of the University of Ottawa, and UNESCO Special Envoy for Haiti, Michelle Jean, highlighted the importance of promoting Moroccan-Canadian cultural and educational relations as key tools to bringing the two peoples closer. The minister also welcomed the increase in cultural exchanges between Morocco and Canada, noting the role played by the Moroccan community in Canada in strengthening the social, economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
