Bouaida calls in Geneva for mobilization in favor of rights preventive approaches

Speaking on behalf of the French-speaking group during a UNHRC plenary session, Bouaida affirmed that, in the daily fight led by the International Community to establish societies that respect human rights, the adoption of preventive approaches has become a pressing need.

This mobilization should be strengthened by concrete actions and reforms for the fight against impunity and promotion of the human rights culture through mainly human rights education, said the Minister at the high-level dialogue on the promotion of preventive approaches within the UN system. The French-speaking group would like to emphasize the importance of greater implication and unwavering commitment to international standards of human rights and monitoring mechanisms for their implementation at national, regional and international levels, she said.
