Benkirane meets with Under Secretary of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office for Middle East and North Africa

The meeting discussed the relations between Britain and Morocco, said Burt in a statement to the press at the end of these talks.

The British official also hailed the strong ties between the two countries, particularly in terms of trade, education, and investment opportunities.

Burt also said he discussed with Benkirane the reforms launched in Morocco and other regional issues.

According to a statement of the Head of Government's Office, Benkirane and Burt hailed the strong relations of friendship and cooperation between the two Kingdoms, as the two countries celebrate their 800th anniversary.

The two officials also discussed ways to further reinforce bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Previously, the British official took part in a meeting, held at the British Embassy in Rabat to commemorate the second anniversary of the launch of the Arab Partnership which is funded by the United Kingdom.
