Belgium commends military justice reform in Morocco
Brussels - The Belgian foreign affairs ministry lauded the approval, on Friday by the ministers' council chaired by HM King Mohammed VI, of a draft bill on military justice, it announced on Tuesday.

The Federal public department of the foreign affairs ministry commends the approval, on March 14 by the Moroccan ministers' council, of a draft bill on military justice, said the ministry in a statement.
The draft law, which provides mainly for the exclusion of civilians from military courts' competence regardless of their crimes, is in line with the comprehensive reform of the judiciary and the reinforcement of the Moroccan rule of law, as well as the implementation of the 2011 constitution, it said.
The bill, elaborated in conformity with the royal orders, seeks to standardize national legislation on military justice with provisions of the constitution and international standards in force.
