Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency ready to implement some projects set out in Al Quds development plan-director

In an address read on his behalf before the participants in the Donor Conference for the financing of the strategic plan, Alaoui M'Daghri said that the Agency is also ready to strengthen coordination with the competent organs of the Palestinian National Authority, and collaborate with other financial institutions to implement some of the projects programmed by the Palestinian plan.

The projects planned by the Agency during the next period for which it seeks an estimated ê 23 million financing, can be implemented in the framework of complementarity and cooperation stipulated in the Strategic Plan, in the same way as other funds such as the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the Agency director said.

In this context, Alaoui M 'Daghri recalled that the Agency has implemented during the period 2006-2012 important projects estimated at ê 30 million, spread over 127 projects in the sectors of education, health, housing and women, children and youth and sports, in addition to welfare and relief programmes.
