Rabat - State minister Abdellah Baha met, on Wednesday in Rabat, with Margareta Wahlstrom, the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, who is on a working visit to Morocco.

According to a statement by the head of government's office, the meeting was an occasion to examine means to further cooperation between Morocco and the UN body.
The statement noted that the cabinet began carrying out the national strategy for risk management through the reinforcement of capacities in all areas of training and communication.
Margareta Wahlstrom commended Morocco's risk management efforts in harmony with the UN vision, reaffirming the readiness of the UN body to reinforce cooperation with Morocco.
