Algeria: Snowfall roads closed to traffic in 21 provinces of the country
Several roads and routes in thes wilayas remain closed to traffic in 21 provinces of the country following heavy snowfall recorded in the last 24 hours, depending on a situation analysis prepared on Saturday by the National Gendarmerie.

The RN 15 between Tizi-Ouzou in Bouira at Tirourda, Iferhounene commune, and within the area of thecommune of Iraten Larbaa Nath, RN Tizi-48 connecting to Ghenif Kadiria (Bouira) at a place called Bagasse village,the town of Tizi-Ghenif and the wilaya route 01connecting the town of Larbaa Nath-Iraten in Tizi-Rached, were closed to traffic due to drifting snow, APS reports.
For the same reason, the RN 25 between Tizi-Ouzou in Bouira is cut off to traffic up to the town of Ait Yahia Moussa-just as the wilaya path 08 between the cities of Yakourene and Zekri.
The road linking the wilaya 100 Ouadhia town in Beni-Douala, the RN 30 between Tizi Ouzou and Bouira, the RN 71 between Ain el-Hammam and Azazga, and the RN 12 between Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia are cut to traffic.
In the same wilaya, the RN 72 between Tigzirt and Makouda, the path of wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou between 09 and Bejaia, along the path connecting 253 wilaya Ain El-Hammam and Bejaia, the wilaya path 11 between Ain El-Hammam and Ouacif and the wilaya path 251 between the towns of Bouzeguène and Illoula-Oumalou, the path 107 connecting the wilaya of Tizi-Ghenif and M'kira,the path between Boudjima wilaya and Tigzirt, and the path 05 wilaya-linking Larbaa Nath Iraten and Tizi-Rached, remain closed to traffic.
In the wilaya of Ain Defla, the RN 18 connecting the city of Medea is Khemis to cut traffic at a place called El-Fedj in the town of Oued-Chorfa.
The east-west highway linking Khemis Meliana to Boumedfaâ, is closed to traffic at El-Hassinia,commune of Khemis Meliana, following the snow bank.
The RN 44 connecting to Meliana Khemis Meliana, the path between 12 wilaya Meliana and Ain Torki, the RN 04 between Khemis Meliana and Boumedfaâ and the RN 14 between Khemis Meliana and Tissemsilt, the RN 65 between Tipaza and Tissemsilt are closed to traffic.
In the province of Medea, the RN 01 El-Hamdania leading to the town of Berrouaghia, the RN 62 between Hannacha and Berrouaghia, the path 238 connecting the wilaya of Tizi-Mehdi and Medea, as the way to 08 wilaya connecting the town of Medea and Tamezguida, the RN 18 between Medea and Ain Defla and the road linking the wilaya of Tizi-Mehdi Mahdjoub and Si,are closed to traffic due to drifting snow.
A Boumerdes wilaya of the path 18 connecting the city of Sidi Daoud and Bordj Menaiel, thewilaya path between 107 and Timezrit Naciria, are cut off to traffic respectively Boulefrad height of the bridge in the town of Bordj Menaiel,and villages and Ayach Ouriacha a distance of 7 km.
In Blida, Blida connecting the RN 37 to Chréa, is interrupted at kilometer 07, in the town of Chrea.
At Tipasa routes 03 (Damous-Melek Beni) and 14 (Aghbal-Gouraya) are closed to traffic following the drifting
snow.
In the province of Chlef, paths 74 wilaya (Taougrite-Moussedek) and 34 (Oued-Goussine Zeboudja), are closed to traffic.
Several roads were also cut off the circulation in the province of Bouira following heavy snowfall that fell on the region.
These are the RN 33 and 30 connecting Bouira and Tizi-Ouzou, the RN 08 between B and Sour El-Ghozlane Hachimia, paths 25 wilaya (Mesdour-Taguedit), 02 (Lakhdaria-Boukram),20 ( Mesdour Ben-Daoud) and between 93 and Lakhdaria Guerrouma.
At Tissemsilt, the RN 65 between the town of Ain-Defla and Tissemsilt and the connecting route 52 wilaya Lazharia and Larabaâ) remain cut off to traffic.
In the province of Batna, what are the RN 31 between Arris and Batna, the RN 77 (Batna, Setif), and the path connecting the wilaya 172 RN 31 and Bouhmama (Khenchela), as well as the way of wilaya 45 connecting the city to Ichmoul Yabous (Khenchela), which are closed to traffic due to drifting snow.
A Bordj Bou Arreridj, the RN 76 between Setif and Bordj Bou Arreridj, as are 43 wilaya roads (Main and El Djaafra) and 42 connecting the town of Ghilassa Taglait and are closed to traffic.
A Souk Ahras, the RN 82 between Ouled Driss and Bouhadjar (El-Tarf) is cut off to traffic at the neck El-Amad.
In the wilaya of Setif, RN 75 connecting the town of Setif and Nawal Ait M'zada, RN 76 (Guenzat-Bordj Zemoura), and the paths 45 wilaya (Bouandas-Bousselham) and between 06 and Ait Bouandas Tizi , are closed to traffic following heavy snowfall.
In Bejaia, the RN 26 A connecting Akbou and Tizi-Ouzou, the RN 74 between the village of Tibouamchine, and the RN 75 between Bejaia and Setif remain closed to traffic.
In the same wilaya, the RN 106 between Bejaia and Bordj Bou Arreridj, and the paths between Tamokra wilaya 23 and El-Main (Bordj Bou Arreridj) and between 35 and Beni Beni Djellil Maouche are cut of for traffic.
In Tébessa, the RN 10 connecting the town of Tebessa and Oum El-Bouaghi is closed to traffic in the locality Feda Ain, Bir Deheb common.
At Khenchela, the path connecting M'sara wilaya 172 is closed and Bouhmama Lakhzoum hamlet in the commune of M'Sara.
A Jijel, the RN 77 between Jijel and Setif, is cut with respective stakes of the commune of Texenna Djimla and, as the path connecting A wilaya 137 Selma Ben-Ziada and Texenna wilaya and the path between 135 and Ouled Chekfa Askeur, remain closed to traffic following the drifting snow.
In the province of Constantine, the paths of 51 wilaya (Jebel El-Kaf Ouahch Lakehal), 133 (El-Merridj Constantine) and 175 (Oued Hamimim RN-03), and the RN 03 between Constantine and Skikda are closed traffic.
In Skikda, the RN 03 between the town of El-Harrouch and Constantine is closed to traffic at a place called El Kountour, as is the way to 07 wilaya (Oum Toub Kechra-Ain).
A Mila, the RN 77 between Setif and Jijel is off to traffic at mechta Akerrou in common Minar Zarza, as the RN 105 between Mila and Jijel height mechtas Braga and El-Chorfa, common-Tassala Lamtaï.
In the same wilaya, the RN 05 connecting the town of Sidi Khelifa and the RN 05, and the paths 01 wilaya (Minar-Zarza Tassala Lamtaï), 135 (Terrai Bainan Ouled-Askeur) and 04 (Terrai Bainan-Chigara) are closed to traffic.
At Guelma, heavy snowfall caused the closure of the RN 80 connecting the town of Souk Ahras
and Guelma, the RN 20 between Guelma and Constantine, and the path 123 connecting Tamlouka
Ain and Makhlouf.
For the same reason, the RN 25 between Tizi-Ouzou in Bouira is cut off to traffic up to the town of Ait Yahia Moussa-just as the wilaya path 08 between the cities of Yakourene and Zekri.
The road linking the wilaya 100 Ouadhia town in Beni-Douala, the RN 30 between Tizi Ouzou and Bouira, the RN 71 between Ain el-Hammam and Azazga, and the RN 12 between Tizi Ouzou and Bejaia are cut to traffic.
In the same wilaya, the RN 72 between Tigzirt and Makouda, the path of wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou between 09 and Bejaia, along the path connecting 253 wilaya Ain El-Hammam and Bejaia, the wilaya path 11 between Ain El-Hammam and Ouacif and the wilaya path 251 between the towns of Bouzeguène and Illoula-Oumalou, the path 107 connecting the wilaya of Tizi-Ghenif and M'kira,the path between Boudjima wilaya and Tigzirt, and the path 05 wilaya-linking Larbaa Nath Iraten and Tizi-Rached, remain closed to traffic.
