A US automotive company invests in Tangier
U.S. manufacturer of car seats, wiring and embedded system power management for cars, Lear Corporation, has decided to open a manufacturing plant for automotive wiring in 2013 in Tangier

According to the web media specialist Daily Markets, its facilities will be installed at the commune of Amer Saflia in Tangier and will ensure the creation of 700 job positions.
This new facility is being launched by a business development company American Lear Corp in Morocco, which already owns three factories, two in Tangiers manufacturing wiring systems and car seats, and one in Rabat specializes in the manufacture of battery chargers and technological modules for the European customers, BMW, Renault and Volkswagen top.
Lear Corporation is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan – USA. It has nearly 110,000 employees in 36 countries worldwide, it is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
