34th International Asilah Cultural Moussem 29 June- 15 July , AMU guest of honor

Several panel discussions are planned at this cultural event including "The rushing waters of the Mediterranean crisis in north and south uprising",  "The movement of the visual arts in the countries of the Maghreb Union", "Meeting on publishing and book distribution in the Maghreb "and" the role of elites in building the Maghreb Union. "

In addition, as part of this Moussem, the 27th session of the Summer University of  Ibn Abbad Al Mouatamid (3 to 5 July) will be devoted to the issue of "Women and Democracy in the Arab world,"  the Assilah Forum Foundation
said.

The program for the moussem  highlights the participation of  of political leaders, writers, journalists, lawyers, academics  and sociologists. They will discuss the latest developments in the Arab Spring and the role of political parties in the involvement of women in the democratic process and will review the latest legislation to ensure the  effective presence of women in various fields.

As part of this Moussem, the 27th session of the Summer School, Ibn Abbad Al Mouatamid, offers a rich program of cultural activities which will be led by intellectuals, politicians, and researchers. The regular wall paintings  by artists will feature againas will the engraver's workshop and poetry sessions and concerts.
