16th Marrakech International Film Festival to Pay Tribute to Russian Cinema
Rabat - The Marrakech International Film Festival will pay tribute to Russian cinema at its 16th edition, which will be held on December 2-10, 2016.
As part of its sixteenth edition, the Marrakech International Film Festival is "glad to pay tribute to Russian cinema, one of the richest and most prolific cinema in Europe", the Festival Foundation said Tuesday in a statement.
"This year, Russia will be the guest of honor, the pre-revolutionary, Soviet and post Perestroika Russian cinema - being one of the major stakeholders in the world of cinema since its inception", the statement added.
