150 kg of Chira Seized Northern Morocco
Tangier - The anti-drug police at the Tangier Med port on Monday night seized 158 kg of chira aboard an international transport trailer.
The banned substance, which was carefully concealed as platelets inside the tank of the Spain-bound truck, was discovered after the Morocco-registered trailer has been subjected to scanner control, Head of the anti-drug squad Driss Nakkam told MAP on Tuesday.
The driver of the trailer, a Moroccan national, was arrested and handed over to the judicial police.
