Engines became silent, calm has returned in the "Ile de beauté", the 57th Tour de Corse is completed.
The mild weather this fall has permitted us to have perfect roads for the last round of the European Rally Championship in 2014 and the competitors surrendered a great battle to get the points to be distributed before the end of the season.
Congratulations to all competitors, drivers and navigators for the show they have offered. Congratulations also to the officials and marshals who have assured the optimum conditions for the safety of all.
Thank you to partners who know that the Tour de Corse carries positive images of our region well beyond the borders. Also thank you to the team around me who works throughout the year for this event exists and continually has to develop it to adapt to the news regulations. The task has been tough this year, it will be even harder next year and I'm sure that the challenge will be raised as they are eager to make this rally one of the finest tests of motor sport.
